This chapter was written after a pause of many weeks while the author was busy with other events in real life - studies, exams, projects, little things like that.

Much has happened in the StarSiege universe in the meantime. While the general players have been making themselves really familiarised with ATR2, the team has been busy hunting down the bugs, balancing the numbers and finishing the missions. The PC members are helping out in their own way, making comments, giving suggestions, and raising issues that represent deeply-felt wishes of StarSiege fans everywhere.

Also, the structure of the StormKeepers squad itself has changed somewhat. From humble beginnings of a handful, it has grown from strength to strength, and now at 70+ members stands among one of the largest squads around. These numbers alone have been the source of much discussion, and for a period there has been some feeling that it has become too big to manage. Hence the idea to 'post' squad members into different bases.

As is expected, there will be an impact on the ongoing story as told here. Which is another reason why the writing has stopped for a while. It was felt that time was needed for things to settle down, and to be sure who was posted where. Only then could the storyline be properly integrated in a convincing manner.

Now that the bases thing is settled, and the real-life stuff as well, it is time... for the story to continue.
